Hammer mill is an industrial grinder, used for coarse materials such as cereals (Maize, Soya etc.) and oil meals used in the feed mills. The Cremach Designs Hammer Mill FCS functions as a fine grinding mill in pet feed and aqua feed production and as a course grinding mill in the formulated feed manufacturing, flour milling and biomass industries.

The hammer mill has to have a grinding casing and a base frame in a compound construction of welded sheet steel. The grinding rotor is supported externally, fitted on accessible standard plummer block bearings. Cremach Designs Hammer Mill machines come with a completely automated controlled speed rotary feeder for the most efficient operation of the mill.


The feeder for hammer mill consists of a vane type feed rotor assembled in a fabricated body. The rotor is driven through a geared motor with an arrangement for varying the speed according to the load on the mill. This variation in speed of the rotor will determine the quantity of material going into the hammer mill. The unit is fitted to the hopper above hammer mill to discharge material to hammer mill. The material is discharged on to the top of a permanent magnet fitted on the feeder body. Most of the ferrous material is trapped to the magnetic surface and the feed is directed to the hammer mill grinding chamber. The magnet can be opened for cleaning the material stuck to the magnetic surface. The control is through AC frequency drive.

Industrial Mixers are used for obtaining homogeneous blends of raw materials consisting of dry solids e.g. powered cereals, fine powders, medicines, chemicals and oil. An Injection of liquids (Vegetable oils mainly) directly from spray pipes along the body of the machine is also done in the mixer.

The mixer is either a ribbon blender or a paddle mixer of horizontal design.The mixer is to designed to operate efficiently even for a 50% load of the full capacity filling. The mixer is be dust-proof, single shaft with cylindrical mixing trough with the main rotor shaft supported by two outboard plummer blocks, heavy duty ball bearings and fitted with twin helical spirals or paddles depending on the capacity and operation of use. For an efficient emptying of the mixer, a full length bottom opening pneumatically operated gate is provided. We ensure complete leakage proof during charging and discharging of the mixer. The mixer is supplied along with safety switches, limit switches for gate position, drive guard, air recycling channel, horizontal foot mounted gear box and a electric motor, pneumatic cylinders and solenoid valves.

A Pellet Mill is used in a feed plant to produce pellets of defined size as required by the customer. Pelleting is obtained by pressing steam conditioned powered homogeneous mix between 2 – 10 mm die and Press Rollers. The Cremach Pellet Mill is vertical type with “V” belt drive arrangement. We manufacture pellet mill which are Senior to Jumbo with a capacity of 4 to 12 tons per hour.

A solid constructed welded steel frame for the Pellet Mill supports the machine on the plant structure. The Pelleting station comes along with a Variable frequency operated feeder and steam conditioner along with a retentioner. The process requires injecting steam at a constant pressure and temperature to the powered homogeneous mix for the perfect feed. Cremach Conditioners allow material retention in the system providing the perfect temperature for superior pellets. The entire machine is a Stainless Steel construction for a long lasting and a carrion proof operation.

The machine comes with a servicing hoist mounted on the pellet mill to facilitate changing of dies and press rolls. A shear pin and limit switch devices, mounted on the main support shaft are provided to protect the mechanical press components, drive belts and main drive motor form overloading. Hand tools for maintenance, adjustable torque wrench and hydraulic press for removing shells from press rolls are supplied for ease of maintenance of the machine.

A crumbler is used to obtain precise size feed specifically for poultry and prawn feeds. Fitted below the pellet cooler with adjustable rollers, a crumbler can produce required size of crumbs. The Crumbler is manufactured from mild steel steels with a sturdy welded body.

A crumbler comes with a rotary vane feeder operated with a variable frequency drive to control the flow of materials to the crumbler rolls. This help to optimize the power usage and the the size of the crumbs specially with operating for extra fine quality feed eg. Strater and Pre starter crumbs.

A countercurrent cooler is used for cooling of hot and moist pellets immediately after pelleting in the pelleting station.

The Cremach Designs countercurrent cooler is a vertical machine using air for cooling. Product inlet, holding and exhaust of the hot moist air are of a non-rusting material (SS 304) whereas collection hopper is fabricated from mild steel sheets. Anticorrosion paint is used for parts of the machine which is not fabricated in non rusting material. The machine is supplied with a rotary airlock type feeder at inlet, connected to a geared motor, pellet discharger, air inlet and discharge connection, uniform material distributer in the machine. The machine is operated for manual and automatic adjustment of discharge so as to control the cooling time of the hot and moist pellets. The Non contact type sensors supplied along with the machine ensure ease of operation and efficiency.
Chain conveyors are used to convey materials horizontally or at an inclination not exceeding 10 degree.

The Cremach Designs make Chain Conveyors are dust proof with a bolted design, having steel plate casting, screw chain tensioning support, conveying chain wheel of steel, shaft supported on both sides in plummer block along with self aligned ball bearings, exchangeable wear rail provided at top for chain guide, conveying drag bush chain with a sufficient breaking load with special steel & case hardened parts. Necessary inlets & outlets are provided. These conveyor run on horizontal foot mounted geared motor along with chain drive parts etc.
Bucket elevators are used to convey grains, meals and other raw materials vertically.

The Cremach Designs make Bucket Elevators are dust proof with steel fabrication, rubber lined fabric (M-24 grade 3 ply nylon fabric), pressed steel buckets, elevator bottom boot having provision for fitting either side of inlet, screw type belt tightening device, top hood with rubber lagged crown pulley, and wear resistant front plate and a bottom pulley cage type. Elevators are provided with necessary cleaning slides, inspection windows, casing retention frame and leg spacers. The Elevator is run by a foot mounted horizontal geared motor, and chain type direct coupling drive part. For each elevator one filter bag is provided at bottom between legs.
Screw conveyors are used to convey/distribute grains, meals and other raw materials horizontally or at an inclination (maximum 10 Deg.) for lengths not exceeding 20 M.

The Cremach Make screw conveyors are constant/variable pitch with dust proof design, self-lube plummer block units, intermediate hanger bearing with maintenance–free special nylon bushes, screw or paddle flights of steel having a uniform/varable pitch welded on screw shaft along with necessary inlet & outlet. Overflow flap at discharge end with limit switch is provided with a safety limit switch. The conveyor is to be run by foot mounted horizontal geared motor and chain type direct coupling.
